Ronnie Scott’s All Stars & UWE Big Band - CANCELLED

The famous Ronnie Scott’s All Stars will be joining forces with Bristol’s very own University of the West of England Big Band in a joint concert at the 1532 Theatre. This will form part of the opening night for the University’s ‘Festival of Sound’ and also the Bristol Jazz and Blues Festival. The UWE Big Band, under the direction of Keith Morgan and Nick Attwood, will open the concert performing well known charts from the big band rep before the Ronnie Scott’s All Stars take to the stage.

The Ronnie Scott’s All Stars perform a vast repertoire of jazz music and is comprised of the club’s house musicians. This dynamic group is lead by the club’s artistic director, James Pearson. The All Stars have been touring the U.K. extensively performing “The Soho Songbook”, “1959: The Year that Shaped Jazz”, and “The Ronnie Scott’s Story” over the last few years. In 2020 they will be bringing “Ronnie Scott’s at 60” to the stage.
